Hosted by Gordon Ramsay, the BBC’s brand new quiz show Bank Balance has appeared in the BBC’s 9pm primetime slot over the past few weeks.
The tense series sees contestants answering quiz style questions in exchange for gold bars which they then have to balance on a very wobbly platform.
Balance it well, and they could be taking home up to £100,000, but if any of the gold blocks fall, they go home with nothing.
So how do you apply to be on the BBC quiz show? Here’s everything you need to know.

It’s currently unknown when applications to be on Gordon Ramsay’s Bank Balance will reopen.
In fact, the show hasn’t actually been confirmed for a second series yet and there are fears that it could be axed completely.
Rumours say the show could be axed
According to The Express, insiders have claimed that it’s “highly unlikely” that the show will return for another series due to its “dwindling ratings”.
“Bank Balance has been an unmitigated disaster,” another source told The Daily Star.
“The top brass at the BBC are already saying they don’t know if they want to commit to a second series. Its future is hanging in the balance,” they continued.
However, no decisions have reportedly been made yet.
