Emmet Sheehan is an American professional baseball player who plays for the for the Los Angeles Dodgers of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He plays as a pitcher and wears jersey no. 80.

The Dodgers selected him in the sixth round (192nd overall) of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft. He then signed a deal with the team and was assigned to the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League Dodgers.
Afterward, he was promoted to the Low-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and then to the High-A Great Lakes Loons. He returned to Great Lakes to start the 2022 season and then played for the Double-A Tulsa Drillers at the end of the season.
At the beginning of the 2023 season, he played with Tulsa and received a call-up to the majors by the Dodgers. He made his MLB debut for the Dodgers against the San Francisco Giants on 16 June 2023. There, he pitched six scoreless no-hit innings while allowing two walks and striking out three.
Emmet played collegiate baseball at Boston College for three seasons. Furthermore, he pitched Collegiate summer baseball in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League for the Bristol Blues (2018) and New Britain Bees (2020). He played in the New England Collegiate Baseball League for the Danbury Westerners in 2019.
